I visited this facility
I visited The Arbors at Barefaced Creek, but I didn't cull it because I don't think that the person I demand intendance for is at the level of dementia where virtually of their patients are. The rooms that I saw and their amenities were adequate, nosotros as well toured the outside of the facility. There was music playing on the TV and that's actually all we saw going on. The staff was very nice. The apartments were modest and clean for a double room. There was a salon, simply I didn't see a library, and I think that they exercise accept some of them out of the community.

I visited this facility
Bluff Creek Terrace provided more help than my mother needs at present. The facilities were very good for what they were. The room did not seem equally dwelling house-like because information technology didn't have a full kitchen. Even so, the staff was very friendly and open up to any questions nosotros had. They did have menu games and bingo, but they didn't accept as many field trips. They didn't accept the people to as many places, and there weren't that many options.

I visited this facility
The facilities at Bluff Creek Terrace in Columbia, MO were nice. In that location was a high level of security, with locked doors and sometimes alarms for individuals who are more than likely to try to leave. When that happened, a deafening alarm would sound, which was disturbing to all and I think highly inappropriate. Rooms were nicely furnished with acceptable infinite and amenities. The grounds were nice besides, they did a squeamish job creating relaxing spots for the residents and their family/friends to enjoy. They bundled a overnice weekly schedule, with repetitive but well-attended events. My master concern for this provider was the interactions I saw betwixt residents and staff (nurses). Many of the nurses I interacted with spoke downward, ignored, mocked, yelled, and were just evidently disrespectful to the residents. The unprofessional beliefs I witnessed made me come back every calendar week (or sometimes more than frequently) to be a sound ready of optics and ears for the complaints I had piling up, which I did send to the ambassador. Notwithstanding, the staffing hasn't change and unfortunately this is just 1 of the consequences of a quick LPN document at 1 of the atrocious programs which just supports a poor nursing culture in this industry.

I am a friend or relative of resident
A wonderful location for senior living. My "mother by love adoption" moved to the Bluff Creek independent living apartments last Oct. It's everything she wanted. She wanted a retirement customs most where she used to live in Columbia. Bluff Creek senior living is like an haven in the middle of Columbia. It's safe, peaceful, and friendly -- and close enough for me to visit. The independent living apartments are in a beautiful building with all the civilities. She didn't want to take to worry nigh the cooking and the cleaning. At Barefaced Creek, all her needs are taken care of. The retirement customs staff is friendly and helpful all the time. They provide all the services for the residents. Anybody there has been wonderful!

I am a friend or relative of a resident
My loved one is at Arbors at Bluff Creek. We very much like it. It'south but 12 beds, and he's very well taken care of there. They're very friendly and reply our questions. We're very happy to have him there. They have private bedrooms only no amenities. This is the best fit for him.

I visited this facility
The Arbors has a lovely outdoor sitting area with lots of trees and flowering plants, a wonderful chef called Robert, and a fantastic activity director(Tina) who plans creative and helpful activities on a daily basis. Tina as well takes a special interest in all of the residents and makes an effort to tailor activities to special resident preferences and needs. The dining room is spacious,bright with sunshine, and tastefully busy. Information technology doubles as an activity infinite and party room. The nursing staff are primarily aides, and for the almost office, are very caring. The rooms are quite expensive. My only criticism(besides price) is an apparent lack of advice between shifts. It is left to families or friends to inform staff of special needs or planned outings."
